She swore off men for a while after her latest breakup. But it appears Paris Hilton is slowly easing her way back into the dating scene.
The 29-year-old heiress was spotted sharing a passionate kiss with actor Paul Iancono, 21, at a MTV Music awards after-party in Los Angeles.
And she further fuelled the rumours by posting a series of revealing messages on her Twitter page.
Beneath an intimate photo taken of her and the actor – who stars in the TV show ‘The Hard Times of RJ Berger’ – Paris tweeted: ‘My new toy boy is hot’.
In a subsequent posting on the micro blog site Hilton later added: ‘My wish came true! ‘I love you @ RJ Berger.’
According to reports, Hilton shared a passionate embrace with the handsome young actor, in full view of party guests.
‘We thought it was a publicity stunt at first, but Paris was really making out with this guy,’ an eyewitness was quoted as saying.
Although Hilton has yet to explain her relationship with Iancono, the intimate photo will fuel speculation she has moved on from ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt following their breakup in April.
Ironically, it comes a few weeks after she resolved to stay away from the dating scene.
In an interview on The View, Hilton declared: ‘I’m single – and very happy,' she said.
'I've never been single before my whole life. I've always had a boyfriend.
'I feel free and independent and I'm getting to know myself better - not spending so much time with a guy but spending that time on myself and I love that.'
But she added: 'I've learned a lot about men. You can't trust them, some of them.
'Being in this industry you never know what the guy's intentions are.'
Irrespective of her dating dilemmas, the socialite is clearly enjoying her social life since splitting with sports star Reinhardt.
This week she was also seen partying with the cast of Jersey Shore at the MTV Movie Awards.
She even found time to offer the show’s star, Snooki, advice on making it in Hollywood.
‘I just told her to remain the same sweet girl [she is] and not let anything affect her; be strong and don't pay attention to bad press,’ Hilton said afterwards.
She added: ‘People can say mean things about you, but you should know who you are and not pay attention to it.’
The heiress and Iancono became acquainted through her sister Nicky, whose fiancé, David Katzenberg, is producing his MTV show.
